Grace Taşel is a figurative painter originally from Maryland and currently based in Pawtucket, Rhode Island. She received her BFA in Illustration and Drawing from the Rhode Island School of Design in 2025. Through large-scale portraiture, her work explores memory, girlhood, and emotional vulnerability, using personal narratives to reflect broader experiences of womanhood.
Alongside her studio practice, Grace develops community-centered arts programming that expands access to creative opportunities for artists and young people. She also works in early childhood education, where she strives to encourage creativity, imagination, and self-expression in young children.
