Grace Taşel is a figurative painter originally from Maryland and currently based in Pawtucket, Rhode Island. She received her BFA in Illustration and Drawing from the Rhode Island School of Design in 2025. Through large-scale portraiture, her work focuses on the power of children's emotions, behaviors, and identity. Further exploring the idea of the "inner child" and its impact on our adult selves.
Alongside her studio practice, Grace develops community-centered arts programming that expands access to creative opportunities for artists and young people. She also works in early childhood education, where she strives to encourage creativity, imagination, and self-expression in young children.
